Hallo hallo!
Updating again because I went out today! Gah, after sickness, Mei goes back to Manila for some errands and the whatnots. Usually I would have tried to meet up with my friends but this time, its mostly for important business so it was quite a trip in my case! Thank god I was able to go early because mum wasn’t home.
Anyway, after a quick meal in near the bus terminal, headed off to Manila and off to Megamall to see my sister’s pal who has the paperwork I need to bring home for my folks. So much things! I haven’t been in Megamall since forever… I guess the last time I stepped inside the place is 2010 I think. I personally prefer malls like Trinoma, MoA, Powerplant Mall, Bonifacio High Street and Glorietta-Greenbelt and even Shangri-La. However, Megamall is one of the oldest malls in the country so here I go. Sadly my visit did not coincide with the opening of the Global Fashion Wing, which would open tomorrow.
After walking around to look for food, I decided to eat in Yabu: The House of Katsu, which has been my friend Momo-chan’s favorite place after Ginza Bairin (another Japanese restau making airwaves here in the country). I was assisted by the Assistant Manager of the place (forgot his name sorry X_X) and got taught the basic differences of Katsu. I am admittedly a Ramen fan so I have tried mostly ramen places in my last few trips out. Katsu, not so much coz I prefer Terriyaki. Anyway, I had ordered a Hire Set or tenderloin coz the other set they offered, the Kurobuta Pork, did not have a small serving.
But even if that is the case, the Hire set is waaaayy enough for me. While I can attribute it to my still recovering tummy, it was one big meal! I barely touched my organic cabbage and watermelon. Urgh. Ah well. I will probably try again when they have the Kurobuta Pork in small servings. I did like the miso soup blend too. Japanese indeed! After saying goodbye to my sister’s friend, went back to the North to check out some places. I had to get a pair of white shorts for Family Reunion but no luck in Uniqlo.
Went back to Trinoma to search for shoes. Eventually I found one in Skechers. I picked a black mybionic shoes good for running, walking and training so it was fine. It reminds me of my old Nike shoes, which sadly got eaten by rats. Damn rats! I even saw known Philippine singer Christian Bautista when buying my pair.
When I got home, I was hell tired and I have work too! HUHUHU! Thankfully I have some food to share with my little brother :) Till the next trip!

Just gotta share this last one before ending this one :D I am currently using these eyedrops from my local preferred seller for my eyes (click photo for link)
Santen’s Sante PC eyedrops from Japanichi Shop
This one of a kind eyedrop enables PC users to relax their eyes after a long stint while infront of the PC or even in smartphones. It slightly stings at first because it would prove how dry your eyes are after the drops but it is soothing and smells good too.
Cheerios for now!
