As promised, I am going to update you guys of my journey to the best concert ever next year. Lol. I never really thought I’d be a very big fan of this foursome but here you go!
Manila will be hosting what is probably one of the biggest bands in Japan on January 19, 2016 as ONE OK ROCK will be performing in SM Mall of Asia Arena as part of their 2016 35XXXV Asian Tour. In their last Asian tour, the Philippines was not included due to logistics and schedule issues which disappointed many fans hoping to see them live in the country. However, after numerous petitions from Philippine fans through the coordination of the Philippines’ ONE OK ROCK fan group, and Amuse Asia, Concert promoters PULP Live World had heard the request and successfully granted the wish of these fans to see these talented foursome to the country for the first time.
Ticket prices start at Php 1,500 for the Lower Box C with the most expensive at Php 4,500 for VIP Sitting or Standing. At least 50 slots were opened for PULP Royalty, allowing these ticket holders to get not just VIP tickets and ease free access to the concert, but also have a chance to meet and greet the band live with photo opportunity, with other freebies. Tickets are to be released on September 26th through SM Tickets Online or through SM Ticket branches nationwide.

So what did Mei get? Yours truly had gotten the coveted Pulp Royalty tickets for this once in a lifetime event! The struggle for this ticket was not easy and I know, from notes from the fan groups to Twitter that 500 people have expressed their intent in buying this ticket and I’m one of the lucky ones who gotten it! YES YES YES! To me, getting this privilege is the best birthday gift I could ever give myself so far. Its the best 25th birthday gift ever! I thank Pulp Live World for making this a reality, we waited since 2013 for them to come to this country and here they are!

For those aiming to buy on the 26th, here are some tips. This is based from experience since I helped my brother secure VIP tickets for Lady Gaga’s concert in 2012. Apparently SM Tickets still has issues so here are some good tips for you guys to consider.
– For those close to an SM Branch, go there as early as you could. Malls open at 10 am then purchase. This will allow you to secure your slot way easier and not experience the fuzz brought in by online ticketing.
– For those who can’t go to a branch and can only purchase online, create an account in http://smtickets.com as early as now and make sure you have a working credit card or debit card. A big note on this, make sure your account has the same name as the credit/debit card you are using since SM has recently imposed strict rules on who could claim your tickets and the cards you can use. If you will use your parent’s credit card, put the name of your parents and have them claim the tickets for you.
– Additional tip for online buyers, go online at 10 am. Give a leeway time because SM has a different time clock. Also make sure your net is working properly and fast because you will have to fight for those seats. As there is VIP standing, not sure how this will go but that section would be shared with PR holders. Use chrome or firefox as well I haven’t tried through Safari though.
I wish everyone luck on the what is apparently going to be the biggest war between fans on the 26th! I will update again on the issue once I have details XD
