WHO HAS HANGOVER BLUES FROM YESTERDAY!?? *RAISES HANDS*
24 hours has passed since ONE OK ROCK found themselves overwhelmed with the love of their Pinoy fans who have been waiting for them for a long time (since the first Asia tour to be exact!!) I could still feel all the emotions I felt on the big day and remember the look on their faces when we sang and poured our love out for them. OH TAKA I LOVE YOU SO!!! (considering this is drafted hours after the concert! HAHAHA)
But now its time for me to fulfill my promise to #TeamBahay, #TeamAbroad, #TeamArena, #TeamPULP and #TeamONEOKROCK. Here is the part series of yours truly’s take on ONE OK ROCK Live in Manila. I will be dividing this in three parts: The Hours Before, Meet and Greet/Soundcheck and the Main Event. I am considering a fourth article, but I’m still fifty-fifty over it given the length of each of the three posts. The things you do for ONE OK ROCK!

I decided to post this early… the other two will be next week as I am waiting for official shots to come in (YES, I WILL GET YOU SOME TEAM BAHAY AND TEAM ABROAD!!! OH YEAAAAAH!!!! )

For my first ever concert (not counting the mall lives of my other well-loved band Red Jumpsuit Apparatus who played days before ONE OK ROCK), I ended up preparing quite early for this whole event. I was able to get 5 hours of sleep before assembling up and travelled to Manila from the province.
I followed the posts in Twitter from fans who followed me and check if I would see a crowd already in the arena as I travelled various modes of transport (LRT was to get to the area. Yumie – who was in the Fans on ONE OK ROCK series – did text me and told me there was so I decided to go there first.
I arrived in SM Mall of Asia around 9 am and slowly walked to the Arena, which was quite far from the main mall if you dropped off the public terminal. I even saw Yumie and her friends on the way – who all showed their love for ONE OK ROCK with their shirts, accessories and the whatnots. They told me they will get food since they all arrived in the early hours of the day just to get good areas. Standing ones had to act quickly because of the moshpit good shots views.
When I finally got to the area after circling around MOA Arena, it was really a crowd!
I saw fans of all ages, all types of hair colors and clothing! Some wore fan-made and official shirt showing their undying love for ONE OK ROCK. Of course, you got to wonder what time they all got here! I will let these photos speak to you guys and read the notes in each one of them :))

Some fans of the band come from provinces like Iloilo, Davao and Cebu (#TeamIloilo claim the earliest arrival time of 12 midnight and the ones who announced ONE OK ROCK is in Manila as #TeamAirport) and personally, I hailed from Bulacan when i got here.
Hai hai, signed three actually so I get a bonus!
If you read this Kumi-san, gomen ne. I wasn’t able to get you an autograph with the band. Strict security and pressed for time we are.
Lol, it was a bubbly time to join Kumi-san’s photos and she would call others to join it. We obliged. Pinoy hospitality at its finest!
Additional notes. Kumi-san told us the songs she liked about OOR and even has the setlist written on her left forearm from HK.

I’ve arrived around 7pm straight from work, thank you Mei-chan for posting this particular part before the actual concert. I somehow get the picture of what it looks like and I kind of hope I was there huhu but then there’s always a next time and TAKA did promise to come back right? so yeah, I hope I could join the gang and get to know each of P.O.O.R admins soooooooon ^_______^
P.s. since the concert I can’t help but stare blankly into thin air recalling what happened that night, I’ll be looking forward to your next post. Ja!
Thank you so much for your kind words. I know many people are unaware as to what happened with the first half of the day and admittedly, it was something i never thought Id see as well. Part 2 is super soon if trends are to be considered. I actually can’t wait for it.
I have to admit this is one of my hardest posts ever. Kinda gives me all of the post-event syndrome tons of times and the smiles just keep on coming. My next posts will come next week since Im waiting for official photos as I promised I’ll deliver one heck of a part 2 and 3. Part 2 looks super cool now. I wonder if you guys will feel the same shiver too.

Well! I’m avoiding this but I can’t help it! I’m trying to get over the experience by not reading fan raves and post event jitters. I’ve been trying so hard but can’t. Thumbs up for all the hard work! Waiting for another set of Fans on ONE OK ROCK!
