This is a very serious advisory for everyone, especially ONE OK ROCK fans in the country.
Recently, there have been movements to request ONE OK ROCK songs in the local airwaves in the country such as MYX. While it is ok that we are trying our best to get their music known in the country, please do note there are legal procedures for that.
In light of the requests of fans to get MYX and other local shows to broadcast songs of OOR in the country, the Philippines ONE OK ROCKers – the country’s most active ONE OK ROCK fan club – has released this statement:
‘Please don’t spam MYX without them acquiring legal rights from the ONE OK ROCK’s Record label or Management. The record label from US or from Japan or management will provide rights on a certain local record label in a country for their music to play on TV and Radio.
MYX has a previous issue on some previous record label from Japan. Don’t let them have another case withthe record label of ONE OK ROCK.
Just so you know, MYX staff has sent us message regarding if the rights on playing any ONE OK ROCK Music Videos is already OK. But it is not yet confirmed by the Local Record Label which is “Warner Music Philippines”.
It is possible the music videos that may be released are “Last Dance” or “The Way Back” if it will push through.
Some provincial radio stations have been playing Jmusic songs since they can’t easily be told.
Our present goal these days is to make Warner Music Philippines acquire the music rights from Warner Bros Records (US).
Why? So that select radio stations throughout the country can play ONE OK ROCK MVs in MYX and MTV Pilipinas.
Currently, only Channel V Asia plays ONE OK ROCK MVs under the rights of the local record label in Singapore.
If you wish to get ONE OK ROCK’s music played, you may tweet Warner Music PH at @WMPhils with the hashtag: #ONEOKROCKforWarnerMusicPH and ask permission to have Warner Music PH to release ONE OK ROCK music in radio and music televisions here in the country. Please make sure your tweets make sense and not just SPAM them. Provide a good explanation as to why you wish to hear the band on Television or Radio. Make your tweets inspiring so they will be touched and listen.
We must also prove to them that we can buy ONE OK ROCK’s music in iTunes, Spotify or Deezer to add to our request. Let’s not just save for their concerts, lets also save up for their official music.

Hmmm… Sometimes or rather usually, I have the feeling of not wanting to share OOR to the rest of the world hahaha. I may be a selfish creature but be it.
May we all appreciate their music, artistry and well, they are adorable punks too. It’ll be great to wake up to their song played on the radio.
Lol, ah well, if its the band’s dream to conquer the world, it is our goal to support them.
It will be cool to see them and hear them locally though. Let’s support it.

Nice article Mei. Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully myx, warner, radio stations and amuse(?) Can work this. Its a shame our lads are only shown on YouTube and heard on music streaming medias. By the way is oor on Spinner too?
Amuse is the music label of OOR. LOL. We will see in the next coming days as to how it will be done. I am not sure if they are in Spinnr too. You are free to check that out. I believe that place is for local music
