Konnichassuuu one and all.

Man! I have not updated this blog for ages and looking at it now and my drafts, haha, I’m kinda disappointed at the way I am treating my official blog. But, with COVID-19, plans are all wrecked beyond recognition and I for one should be somewhere enjoying my last few days of being 20-something. Time is irrelevant this year I think. I do pray something good comes up soon.

For this year, since I can’t really celebrate this special month in my life, I decided to go back to my roots and do something completely out of the ordinary.

I am a professional writer by career and I pretty much do all sorts of writing jobs for a variety of clients. It has been my main source of income for the past 10 or so years now and I do appreciate how it is turning out. Writing has always been second nature to me because I don’t really like to talk to people unless I know them or I have to stand up and be active (happens quite a lot of times).

While my work does allow me to write as often as I like, it isn’t really the type of writing that gets my imagination run wild. Back in the day when I wasn’t really a writer and I was still a student, I would write poems or short stories in my spare time. I would hoard notebooks and write, then if I am online, I’d write somewhere and leave it at that. In this site, I have written three very specific short stories and I opted to leave it at that.

However, with the pandemic still causing chaos and I was feeling a bit inspired, I opted to go back to these three very specific one-shots and thought “Since I am not really posting anything on the blog, why not do a full novel out of the one-shots?”

After asking some people, I decided to go for it and #projectapollo came to be.

The official website of #projectapollo is right here and the first full update appears around 12:00 pm. I did not link the site to Twitter yet coz I am thinking if I should put a separate account for it or whatnot.

Please wait for my updates in Twitter, IG and Facebook to find out when the first chapter is appearing because I do need to fix the site to make it novel-worthy. I will also post a detailed background on the site because honestly? this is my personal blog. Not the story’s main site. LOL! I cannot wait for you guys to read the story because when I was in the middle of the drafting process and research, I got so giddy.

The photo I am using as a featured image for this blog entry inspired one of the characters of the story I am writing. Its from the Korean Novel/Manhwa “Suddenly I Became a Princess One Day” by Plutus. I am very impressed with the story and the artwork, which is why I am recommending you guys to read it. Care to take a gander which one of the characters has a special influence on my novel?

I will be posting the late entries when I get the time to do so and more updates coming this month. Man, I need to do something great next year. Stay safe everyone!
