Konnichassu!!!
Well, its another birthday post and it will be a short one. I originally wanted to do this one early but alas, me and my wandering mind had other ideas.
Oh well.
Today is my 31st birthday and as much as I like to say something fun has happened over the past year… nothing much really has occured in a personal level due to COVID but I am very happy I am with my family and that we are all safe despite it all. All of us are vaccinated save for my niece and nephew because of their ages but we are doing our best to make them busy even if they can’t go out.
For my family in the United States, they are also ok with some scares of COVID here and there. My grandma was also brought to the hospital for some complications unrelated to that virus but she is ok now. But, outside that health points, a wedding was held recently there and its my young cousin. I need to really go to the US soon to meet my new cousins, nieces and nephews. Hahaha
Outside my little bubble here in the middle of the rice fields of my home province, many things have happened. Civilians managed to finally breach the territory only trained astronauts had been able to breach before, my favorite rock bank is going to have a Netflix show and vaccinations are slowly increasing are some of these events.
Of course, there are also a lot of sad things going on. Vaccine hesitancy is still there, storms are becoming quite harsh and some friends of mine are undergoing medical battles that are too difficult to bear. In times like these, you can’t help but pray for things to get better and give us strength to get past through it together.
My wish for the 31st? Aside from the usual good health, safety and continuous work, I wish I will be able to finish half of Book 1 or have a manuscript ready for #projectapollo. Its been slow but I will definitely do it. This pandemic is making me sleepy and unmotivated!
Stay safe everyone and while I finish this… the usual thing that happens everytime my birthday comes occurs… its raining. This morning, an earthquake. Great. Hope that means something good is going to happen this year but we’ll see.
