I must admit. I have not been blogging here for AGES now (and apparently since December of 2021).
Life has definitely taken some interesting turns since I have last blogged. Some good, some bad. I didn’t have the inspiration to actually blog those times and if I did get the inspiration, something will take my attention and all hope is lost about me blogging. But, in a nutshell, it has been work + play + webtoons + random interscape writing + sleep + some random ONE OK ROCK news that will get you cracking and repeat.
COVID also remains to be one driver of my inactivity in this blog. Not much to do outside and with monkeypox now also a problem, well, the more reluctant I am to go out. Caution is warranted since not all are vaccinated and the virus still mutates. Fortunately, there are boosters available and I’m just waiting for a second booster so I can breathe in safely. Restrictions are relaxing on international travel now but maaaan! I need to reapply for visas and stuff. I also need more money. My iMac of XX years is slowly showing its age and whew, I may get a Green-colored one for that.
What I think is a notable shift in the gap between when I last blogged till now is the national elections is finally done. We are heading into a new era of sorts, a questionable one at that considering who won the elections and so on. I will admit I didn’t vote for said winning duo for a variety of reasons despite the fact my family is a strong supporter (a longer story as to why that is). So far, the cabinet is looking good but like many of those who aren’t into this winning duo, we shall wait and see.
I also got into gaming again. Aside Genshin (which is finally getting an update after the issues in China because of COVID), I got into Hades (hence the banner for this update) and it is a very addicting game. I did end up getting the game because I got so curious after seeing a lot of VODs from streamers about it and the interesting storyline they did for it. It gave me quite a lot of ideas for #projectapollo which I will write soon. I haven’t even touched it because of how strange my life is! After Hades, I may try actually starting Horizon Zero Dawn then Forbidden West. Thank God for regular PSN sales! Hahaha!
I will be continuously updating some of the pages and entries here in the site in the next coming days to make sure everything is in order and updated. I am still adjusting stuff as well with the theme I selected so I do apologize for any errors that may appear throughout your visit here. The banner is a photo from one of my trips in Japan inside teamLab’s Borderless exhibit. Sad that it is closing this year but I heard the team behind it will have a new exhibit after some time. Hopefully by then I can travel to Japan to see it!
#projectapollo’s website will also be updated so don’t head there yet because it is practically empty and being updated!
Shoutout to my kouhai Faith for doing some zing on the photo because while I was updating this theme, the photo kept looking odd so I had to ask an expert to update it. Some of the mini photos are made through Picrew, a site I love using whenever I need character designs and some chibis of me.
