This is the official last bit of what has become the live that trumped the past two Manila lives we have so far from our lovely boys, ONE OK ROCK.
I originally intended to make this a part of the live post but… given the fact that fans have indeed answered my rally cry in the group and I do have some moments with some of them, I opted to make this the bit for the fans and collected by a fan.
I’ll begin with my stories first then the ones from the fans!

While I was completely out of it, feeling my body and all, I got to see some of the people whom I actually know after the con. The only person I would make note that I don’t have a pic with is Raki. Dude, next time! Group pic doesn’t count!
My crazy friend would be the first to say to you that I know too many people coz of the amount of people who stopped me throughout the day, especially when she joined me. She is right you know.
Anyway! I got a picture of these two. These two are a bit special out of all the people I saw during the live because of who they are and their story (If you are reading this my crazy best friend, you are up there in the heavens so don’t get jealous now)
The dude here, Yson, was pretty much active during the Luxury Disease live announcement and in the GCs in the fan group. He was saying that he wanted to propose during the concert to his LDR of 3 years and pretty much be part of their three year anniversary (I made my bro, my guy, my dude (Genshin reference) tell me a brief story about their background a day after the con but he gave me a novel. yare yare). So, I read his messages in the GC and he pretty much elaborated how he was going to do it. Since it was a while ago, I said, his plans were a bit hard to pull off since one, banners weren’t allowed and two, no guarantees it will be seen by the boys. There’s also the setlist to consider since it wasn’t out yet.
He eventually messaged me directly asking for some advice on how he can do it. Me, being the writer currently writing a romance novel on the side and kinda has ideas on how to do it like the novels, suggested that he should use the final song and use the period between it and encore to propose with our section (We were both in Plat A) helping out.
Eventually, when the Taiwan setlist was out, he asked which one is the best out of the two love songs: Your Tears Are Mine or Wherever You Are. For him, he was torn since both songs held some sentimental value but I said no when he considered Your Tears Are Mine in one instance. I told him to go for Wherever You Are and time the proposal during the time the crowd usually sings, which was the last two verses. Dude says yes and I just told him to prepare himself.
I was admittedly planning to avoid meeting said dude before the live because one, I didn’t want to give anything away. Two, I would most likely not be aware of things… which I was. And three, the dude needs to focus! But I did end up seeing him before the show with me just nodding because throughout the pre-show, I was stopped here and there by fans who recognized me so I dunno which one is which!
He even had the audacity to take a sneak picture of me while I was waiting on my precious barricade slot. Hahaha!
After the live, he approached me and I asked how did it go. I knew it went well when he introduced to me his new fiancee. He did tell me the story on how it went during that time but I made him repeat it again hours later because haha, I didn’t want to botch my own live report with a crazy recollection of this special moment for these two. But, basically, he handed out notes to those near their line about it and to help him. Many from the GC did know him and gave him good luck. One even ended up almost botching it but fortunately, it was prevented. Then during the live, he actually made a banner saying to Toru that he would like to play The Beginning. Toru actually nodded but given the pacing (and the fact my dude was a Toru-stan and got star struck by the man), that wasn’t possible and he ended up getting two picks from the man himself. Still better than nothing at all!
By the time Wherever You Are came, the moment came and as I recommended to him, he did make the move at the exact moment I told him to do so and it was caught in this video.
Watching this video made me proud of the man coz, he actually did it and well, knowing that my talent for making romantic scenes in writing can be translated to real life is… interesting to know.

Anyway, before knowing this story about the guitar picks, I actually jokingly asked if I can have the extra one. I didn’t expect my dude would give it to me as thanks for helping him in this very special time of his life. Truly shocking and amazing isn’t it? I thanked him for the gift and wow, I was at an even more awe when I moved to the next person. Truly broken I was I tell you.
Here’s the pick with the souvenir card I took when I got home by the way! I am still lamenting where to keep this. I may frame it with the official poster since I did get one.
And here is the note that was given around that I got. I will have to give it to the guy when I see him again in the future since he said he was trying to look for one. Took this photo on my way home while talking to the guy. Haha, I didn’t think he knew I was serious that someone had handed this to me.
My wish for Yson and his fiancee Yumi, I do hope and pray that this is the start of something truly magical and lasting for you two. Life will never be completely perfect but if you do love each other and you are confident about each other despite your weaknesses, then you will be able to get through anything together. You have been LDR for 3 years right? Then I’m quite sure you know how to pick each other up in even the toughest times. Now you have to learn how to adjust and use what you learned during those times to make this a magical life together now that the distance is blurred day by day, especially when you get kids and all that.
And my dude, please keep that other pick and protect it with your life. Put it on a pedestal like you told me to!

Eu who shouted in the high heavens my name when she arrived late. I was too amused when someone took my attention when it happened. Still waiting for my gift Eu dear!
I also got to see Amy – the biggest Tomoya fan I know from way back. Her voice was gone when I saw her and asked me about some common friends of ours. Did we take a photo? I forgot!
I also met on my way to catch up with my Childe-main of a friend this other Childe-main. Her mask really gave her away! I think my Childe-main of a friend is asking where you got this mask so please answer her before she goes rabid. Chaotic good and all that.
I also got stopped by Godwyn, who told everyone in the GC that he was having problems with his feet earlier in the day but given where we were, his feet practically gave up on him after. Did get to ask him about it while I wrote this part of the blog (writing this while I’m messaging him, 9/27 10:36pm to be exact). Hopefully, by the time he reads this, it is ok.
I did let him take a picture of the pick (that’s for his collection) and later, he would share these pics with me! Thank you Godwyn!!!
I also met Anya again aka Michuu. Now I know she wasn’t cosplaying as Anya coz I would later see comments that it was a different character (making me realize how backed up I am with the latest anime), but man the hair though color is too Anya (I will later take an amusement to this fact that she also cosplays Anya and it is her DP in IG). She is quite adorable you know, and memorable! Hope to see you again Michuu and I’ll introduce myself properly next time!
On the other side of the spectrum, here are fans who wanted to share their stories with you guys and man, if only I can kage bunshin myself, I would collect more stories :) Maybe next time, I’ll generate a way to make this more efficient even while my targets are experiencing PCD.

Special mention to all the first-timers who came to the concert to experience the amazingness that is a ONE OK ROCK live. In the fan group (shoutout to Mark Dats who did this post), most of them shared that they were blown away by the live and that they were so happy to be able to see the con. They are all without regrets! I will definitely see these boys and girls in the next one I reckon. Congratulations to you guys!!!

Capping off the Box A representation are these four lucky ladies. Arielle sent this and shared that her and these ladies beside her won the tickets raffled off by Smart Araneta Coliseum for the concert. Apparently, two of these girls wanted to at least try to get Gen Ad but luck was on their side and got Box A!
Arielle did share also how she won by answering what her OOR song was and why. Be the Light was her answer and she explains that it helps her to always remember to be kind to others and never lose hope. You deserve to win my dear. You really do :)

Oh and here’s a cool pic from the SJDM/Fairview team from Jiro. Apparently, they got formed after a GC was formed in the group and one suggested to rent a van so they can all go to the concert.
And, after the con, they even had a mini concert on their way home! PCD is never going to fade!
This cool haul of never-ending ONE OK ROCK freebies is from Sachi. Apparently, she and a friend pretty much hunted for these freebies since this is their first con. Tons of memories for you guys!
Coz she might have gotten caught in the moment and didn’t send me an actual after con photo, here’s one from Myla. She did share me a novel for her OOR story, but in a nutshell, she internalized the moment and was one proud fangirl coz the concert was just perfect.

Three years will be quite a while but since it is just but a blink of an eye in this fast paced world… I think it will come to us before we know it.
I will now take this time to say my thanks to the following:
Massive shout out to everyone for being such a great fanbase, especially from the Philippines ONE OK ROCKers group. I’ved been very active since the announcement (while so passive in between… favoritism for Manila lives… hahaha!) and you guys have been great each time I post. I am deeply sorry the fan project came slightly short but again, we can’t control some factors. Next time, it will be open by the time they announce the date regardless of the setlist. We will show ONE OK ROCK why we are the best fanbase there is!
Should we proceed with the abaniko project? LOL! (Shout out to Millie and Zsaii)
I know some of you also wanted to see me but man! I barely got time coz of the line of never-ending preorder claims (hell, I know). Next time, don’t be shy to say Hi (there is one who mentioned in the GC they wanted to say hi to me but got shy. I remember you but not your name… whoops)
To our lovely admins and volunteers (you guys from the RedTape, you know who you are), thank you. The signing banners came in just in time and you guys made sure it reached its destination. The RedTape volunteers, lol, next time lets try to do something rad if you guys will still be up for it for this part of the project. But, thank you for your time and dedication. It will not be forgotten (mine is in my journal of diabolical stuff… just kidding!)
To the fans who are part of this entry, thanks for letting me and our fellow fandom (here and across the globe) your story. This shows your passion and love for the boys and I do hope to see you in the next one! For those who sent their photos but didn’t get to see them, I am deeply sorry. I can only post so much but know that I will do my best to include you all in the next one!
